Madame Tussauds unveils lifelike model of actress
Wednesday, 5 December 2007
Nicole Kidman was unveiled today as the latest Madame Tussauds’ waxwork – and this time it's a damn good likeness.
Some of Madame T's models only have a slight resemblance to the celebrity they're meant to be, but the figure of Nicole, 40 – which took 4 months to make - is pretty realistic.
The actress's rigid doppleganger is dressed in a sweeping crimson gown.
‘Nicole is wearing a stunning floor-length red dress which really emphasizes her flawless beauty and grace, idolised by so many women around the world,’ a spokesman for Madame Tussauds London tells Now Online.
‘There’s no mistaking that she is a hugely popular global celebrity, and we are delighted to be unveiling her today.’
The waxwork is part of Madame Tussauds London’s new winter wonderland Blush zone, with Nicole’s double perched above a blanket of snow and surrounded by festive white Christmas trees.
