Britney Spears investigated for alleged 'multiple child abuse and neglect'

New shocking court documents released

Britney Spears is facing allegations of 'multiple child abuse and neglect', according to new court papers.

Over 300 pages of documents relating to the mum-of-two's custody battle with ex-hubby Kevin Federline were released by Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott M Gordon on Tuesday.

In the papers, concerns are raised about the safety of Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, if they are left in the singer's care.

The LA County Department of Children and Family Services is reported to have requested that the court do not change the current custody and visitation arrangements until their investigation is completed.

The papers also include details of 26-year-old Britney's expenses and previous court rulings, reports the Associated Press.

Britney lost custody of her boys back in October.

Both Britney's and Kevin's representatives were unavailable for comment.
