Touch Me Like That sells just 1,500 copies

She may be an X Factor judge, but Dannii Minogue’s new single looks set to be a flop.

Dance tune Touch Me Like That is unlikely to break the Top 40 after its CD release this week.

It’s failed to make the Radio 1 playlist and according to midweek charts, the single has sold less that 1,500 copies, meaning it’s currently heading for a No 43 spot.

To make matters worse, Touch Me Like That has been available digitally since last week.

The news will give rival Louis Walsh, 55, more ammunition against Dannii whose abilities he attacked last week.

The Irish pop mogul claimed Kylie's young sis wasn't much of a singer.

‘Dannii, singing out of tune? Ho ho!’ he said.

But Simon Cowell, 48, is said to want the the cutting jibes to stop.

‘Knowing Sharon and Louis they'll make it their mission to keep reminding her because it winds her up so much,’ a show insider tells the Daily Mirror.

‘But Simon is very protective of Dannii and will no doubt be reassuring her that she's wonderful.’
