Cerys Matthews: I'm overwhelmed by feelings for Marc

The singer said she married for all the wrong reasons

Besotted Cerys Matthews has declared her love for Marc Bannerman and now they're free to make plans to move in together - once they've had their first date, of course.

‘I have feelings for Marc. I’m overwhelmed and a little bit nervous,’ Cerys, 38, admits.

After her failed marriage to music producer Seth Riddle – father to kids Glenys, 4, and Johnny, 2 – she's determined that this time she’ll find true love.

She told the other I'm A Celeb contestants that she became a bride at 33 for the wrong reasons.

‘I got married because I didn’t want to live on my own my whole life,’ she said. ‘I knew that it was going to be hard, but when it doesn’t work out it’s heartbreaking – especially when you’ve got two children.

‘I have a board of directors now. Anyone I’m interested in, my friends check them out and see what they’re all about.'
