SJP reckons they're provocative in a dodgy way

Sarah Jessica Parker sported some bizarre costumes in Sex And The City, but says she'll never be seen in 'super low-rise jeans'.

The actress, 42 - who played fashionista Carrie Bradshaw in the hit US show - reckons showing off a bare tummy is all wrong.

'There is not going to be any inappropriate midriff showing, regardless of age,' she insists. 'It’s provocative in a way that I just don’t feel comfortable with.'

And Sarah’s fashion sense has had an impact on actor hubby Matthew Broderick.

'Before he knew me, Matthew felt very confident about dressing on his own,' she tells Easy Living.

'I seem to have sapped his confidence. It’s just that I buy him so much that I think he feels it has taken away his ability to make his own decisions.'
