Jesse Metcalfe proposes to Nadine Coyle?

Onlookers say singer was cooing over a ring

Jesse Metcalfe has reportedly proposed to Nadine Coyle – and she appears to have accepted.

The singer, 22, is said to have shown her Girls Aloud bandmates the sparkler on Saturday night as they performed at London’s G.A.Y.

But Nadine didn’t wear the gem on stage because she wants to keep the news secret.

‘In a quiet moment before the girls took to the stage she showed her bandmates a ring on her finger,’ says a source.

‘I couldn’t see which finger as they were huddled around. The way they were all cooing seemed to suggest it was something special.

‘She then asked an assistant to lock it away before they took to the stage because she didn’t want anyone to see it or, more importantly, to lose it.'

Jesse, 28, had earlier been spotted browsing for rings in London’s Hatton Garden.

‘He said he was looking for a friendship ring, but he was checking out diamond solitaire jobs,' the source tells the Daily Star, 'exactly the type you’d pick for an engagement.'
