Babyshambles frontman dedicates a song to the star in Glasgow

Pete Doherty dedicated a song to Amy Winehouse at his gig in Glasgow on Saturday night – encouraging fans to give her some support.

The Babyshambles frontman has been loyal to the troubled singer since her hubby Blake Fielder-Civil was taken into custody on charges of GBH and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

‘She is a really nice girl and this song is for her; keep the chin up,’ he announced at the SECC arena.

Amy, 24, has been spiralling out of control since her hubby’s arrest last month and has quit her UK tour after struggling to hold it together on stage.

But Pete, 28 – who showed up on court to support the couple last month – is determined to stand by her.

Meanwhile the recovering drug addict is reportedly dating new girlfriend Amelie Windel.
