Kevin Federline: My battles with Britney are normal

Britney’s ex says their domestic problems aren't unique

Kevin Federline reckons his relationship troubles with ex-wife Britney Spears are very common.

There's nothing unique about their rows.

‘People put it up on this pedestal when it’s really the same way that everybody else goes through their stuff, you know?' the wannabe rapper, 29, tells Interview magazine.

'It’s not really any different. The only difference is the media attention.

‘I think the infatuation with the whole thing is that watching us go through things makes other people feel normal.'

After a custody hearing on Monday – which Britney, 26, failed to attend - Kevin retained sole legal and physical custody of sons Sean Preston, 2, and 1-year old Jayden James.

But he doesn't believe he's now America's most famous father.

'Brad Pitt's pretty up there, too,' he chuckles.
