Lindsay Lohan spends Thanksgiving in group therapy

The troubled actress avoids alcohol over the holiday period

Lindsay Lohan celebrated Thanksgiving in group therapy with her family.

The Mean Girls star, 21, spent the holiday in New York with mum Dina, dad Michael and younger sister Ali, 13, trying to resolve family troubles.

Only younger brother Dakota, 11, missed out on the get-together.

Michael and daughter Lindsay were estranged for 3½ years but have been reconciled since September.

‘They are all trying to work things out together, and they know they have a long way to go,’ a source tells the New York Post.

The talks are believed to be part of Lindsay’s out-patient rehab programme after having treatment for drug and alcohol problems.

‘Lindsay is now trying to fill her time with non-drinking activities and non-partying activities,' says the insider.
