Johnny Depp buys girlfriend a vineyard

Actor congratulates Vanessa Paradis on recording album

It's official: Johnny Depp is the best boyfriend ever.

The actor, 44, has bought long-term girlfriend Vanessa Paradis a vineyard.

Hunk Johnny gave the singer, 34, the extravagant gift to congratulate her on completing her new album, reports the Daily Mirror.

The plot is in Provence in France, close to the couple's villa, where they live with their 2 children, Lily-Rose, 8, and Jack, 5.

And while Johnny's putting down roots in French soil, Courtney Love is considering moving to Richmond in Middlesex.

The rock chick, 43, is prepared to fork out £7m for a mansion in the area after turning her nose up at Kate Moss's 'shabby' North London mansion.

'I'd ideally want to be on the green near the theatre,' Courtney tells the Daily Express. 'It's an awesome place to hang out.'
