Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall and Lucy-Jo Hudson engaged

Actor pops the question after 3 years

Coronation Street star Alan Halsall and long-term girlfriend Lucy-Jo Hudson are reportedly engaged.

The actor – who plays Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV1 soap – popped the question after much dithering.

‘Alan has spent months waiting to propose,’ a source tells the Sunday People.

‘But with Lucy-Jo’s hectic filming schedule and them spending months apart there never seemed to be the right moment.’

The pair met on the set of Corrie when Lucy-Jo played Katy Harris, who was jailed for murdering her dad.

They have been together for 3 years.

Lucy-Jo, 24, now stars in Wild At Heart.
