Hollywood stars flee wildfires

Actress Minnie Driver and hunk Matthew McConaughey evacuated

Hollywood stars were forced to flee their Malibu homes yesterday as wildfires ripped through the California region.

The mansion of Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea was destroyed and houses belonging to Matthew McConaughey, 38, and Minnie Driver, 37, are also reported to be under threat.

Britney Spears, Jim Carrey, Sting, Pierce Brosnan, Courteney Cox and Bill Murray also have properties in the exclusive area.

The latest blaze – which has seen 35 mansions destroyed – follows similar fires last month.
