Dermot O'Leary quits Big Brother

He'll move on after spin-off E4 series in January

Dermot O'Leary is to quit Big Brother after 7 years.

The BB's Little Brother host wants to concentrate on presenting The X Factor.

Dermot, 34, will front spin-off E4 series BB's Celebrity Hijack in January before leaving the hit Channel 4 show.

'I've had the time of my life working on Big Brother's Little Brother from our broom cupboard days to the all singing and all-dancing show we make now,' he tells the Daily Mirror.

'But this summer's commitment to BBLB and The X Factor has proved to me it's impractical if not impossible to do both.'

Davina McCall will continue to present the main Big Brother show on Channel 4.

Producers are said to already be looking for new hosts for BBLB.
