I’m A Celeb star insists there’s no ‘scapegoat’ for his cheating

Marc Bannerman has finally admitted he’s a love rat.

The ex-EastEnder, 34, got very friendly with Cerys Matthews, 38, in the I’m A Celeb jungle – despite being in a relationship with actress Sarah Matravers, 33.

Now Marc has realised that his actions were out of order as he had a missus at home.

‘I just developed feelings for someone in there... I’m a rat,’ he says on I’m A Celeb follow-up programme Coming Out.

‘I can’t look for a scapegoat – the buck stops here.’

And Marc says he was disgusted with himself when he found out the extent of the fall-out from his flirting.

‘I can’t even look at myself,’ explains the actor. ‘I feel sick, I feel for Sarah. I feel really stupid.’

Coming Out airs on ITV tonight at 9pm.
