Letitia Dean gets friendly with toyboy half her age

Stagehand Alex Lillyman says his feelings are serious

Letitia Dean split from hubby Jason Pethers last year but she hasn't been sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring.

Stagehand Alex Lillyman, 20, says he's been enjoying secret outings with the 40-year-old Strictly Come Dancing star. The pair met when the ex-EastEnder was playing the Wicked Queen in panto at Northampton.

‘At first I thought Letitia was just being friendly,’ he reveals.

‘But she came on very strong. She flirted with me so much I fancied her from the start.’

And the youngster says they were soon enjoying trips to the Brampton Halt pub near his family home.

‘We went to the pub because we knew we wouldn’t be hassled,’ he tells The People.

‘We'd also meet up discreetly in London. It was more than just a fling. It was serious.

'We are still very, very close.'

But despite Alex’s openness about their relationship, Letitia - who Alex says is now seeing an older guy - was keeping tight-lipped on Saturday night.

‘We are just good friends,’ she said coyly as she headed into the London studios.
