Pete Doherty to move in with Jonathan Rhys Meyers

They’ll tackle their demons together

Pete Doherty and Jonathan Rhys Meyers are rumoured to be moving in together.

The troubled stars believe they’ll be able to help each other beat their demons by sharing a flat in east London.

Jon, 30, has been forced to look for a new place after reportedly splitting with his girlfriend Reena Hammer.

‘Jonathan’s mum died last month, leaving him heartbroken,’ says a source. ‘Then his girlfriend, student Reena Hammer, split with him, forcing him to move out of her north London flat.’

Pete, 29, is currently trying to quit drugs, while Jonathan checked out of rehab for alcohol abuse earlier in the year.

Now the unlikely pals are hoping to support each other.

‘Although Jonathan spends a lot of his time filming in Los Angeles these days he still needs somewhere to stay while working in London,’ the source tells the Daily Star.

‘Jonathan’s friend knows that he has had a really rough time of it recently and that Pete has too.

‘So he suggested Pete and Jonathan rent a place and help each other through their tough times. Jonathan thought it was a great idea and has started looking at flats in one plush block in east London.
