Sugababes deny calling James Blunt a ‘horse face’

Girl band insist they're friends with Beautiful singer

Sugababe Heidi Range has denied reports that she's got a grudge against fellow musician James Blunt.

Back in September, a gossip column claimed she called him ‘a little man’ and likened him to a horse.

But now Heidi and fellow band mates Keisha Buchanan, 22, Amelle Barrabah, 23, have set the record straight.

‘There was a journalist who was trying to get me to say something about James Blunt in an interview,’ explains the 23-year-old.

‘I had nothing to say so she ran with the headline: “Sugababes say James Blunt is a tiny man with a horse’s face!”’

But James, 33 – who is back on the singles market having recently split from his girlfriend Mika Simmons – still hasn’t forgiven them.

‘When we saw him at the Brits,’ Amelle tells Live, ‘he just looked straight through us.’
