Brian won’t rest until he gets full custody of his children from Kerry Katona
Saturday, 15 December 2007
Recently engaged Brian McFadden has told his family that the only way Kerry Katona will keep hold of their two kids is ‘over my dead body’.
Their bitter custody battle over Molly, 6, and Lilly-Sue, 4, is set to explode when Brian, 27, and his new Australian fiancée Delta Goodrem, 23, finally move to London in the next six months.
The only delay in Brian’s fight is that he’s currently staying in Delta’s home city of Melbourne to nurse her sick mum Lea, who’s battling cancer.
Kerry’s recent behaviour has shocked Brian into moving back to London to up the ante in his custody war with his ex-wife, 27, who currently cares for the children with her new husband Mark Croft, 37.
‘It’s taken a while for Delta to get used to the idea of being a stepmum,' says our source, 'because she felt she was too young. But her outlook on marriage and kids has changed recently since the bitter divorce of her own parents.
'Now she desperately wants a stable family home with Brian, his kids and their own children when they’re good and ready.'
