Roberto Cavalli has designed some spectacular outfits for the Spice Girls’ comeback tour.
The fashion guru is giving Posh, Ginger, Baby, Scary and Sporty a £2m makeover.
But Roberto reckons the girls already had a strong fashion sense, particularly Victoria Beckham, 33.
‘I have known Victoria for a long time, and always admired her style and personality,’ says the designer, 67.
‘At their debut, the Spice Girls generated a trend with their looks and now they have put their trust in me to get a new, unique and iconic appeal for the tour.’
The costumes are said to include elegant tuxedos and shiny mini-dresses as well as futuristic-looking one-offs.
The girls will also be wowing the crowd with leather corsets and numbers covered with crystals and feathers.
‘When I met them, I understood why the world went crazy for their unique brand of girl power,’ says Roberto.
‘They are an irresistible mix of energy, joy, humour and a dash of glamour. I’m sure their strength will take us by storm again.’
