Singer shows off spooky hairdo as she turns on Christmas lights

Note to Joss Stone: Hallowe'en was weeks ago.

The soul diva, 20, has been snapped with a new hairdo that would look good teamed with a pumpkin-shaped handbag.

Joss - who loves a bit of hair dye - sported a black mop with freaky purple streaks to switch on the Christmas lights in Barnstaple, near her home town in Devon.

‘Joss's hair was unusual to say the least,’ says one fan. But others claim it was just a fun wig.

Joss made her public appearance to promote Amigos, a charity which helps African communities.

But, unlike Angelina Jolie and Madonna, she says she has no intention of adopting a malnourished 'orphan'.

'I'm only 20 - I'm way too young,' she tells The Sun. 'I'd feel bad taking one child away, I'd have to adopt a whole family.'
