SEE VIDEO Chanelle Hayes turned away from premiere
Chanelle Hayes was turned away from a West End premiere last week – after being told she was too Z-list to attend.
The Big Brother star, 20 – who recently split from BB lover Ziggy Lichman – was on her way to the Desperately Seeking Susan musical in London’s Novello Theatre but received a phone call telling her not to bother.
‘The night was for a different class of celebrities,’ an event spokeswoman tells The People.
Jade Goody, 26, was also turned away from the event after accidentally receiving an invitation – but a PA called her on the day and said the theatre was ‘over subscribed’.
‘We had organized an earlier event that they would have been welcome to attend,' says the source. 'But Thursday’s premiere was for real stars.’
Ouch!
