Susannah Constantine: I fear ageing

Star says she's scared of looking 'ancient'

Fashion guru Susannah Constantine - one half of style duo Trinny and Susannah - has admitted that she is scared of getting old.

The 45-year-old mum-of-three was transformed with the help of prosthetics into a 75-year-old woman for an episode of her latest TV show Trinny And Susannah Undress The Nation.

And despite only being temporarily transformed into an old crone, the experience left a big impression on the famously bubbly TV presenter.

'When I was playing the old lady, I didn't look at myself until the make-up artists were finished, and when I did, I burst into tears,' she reveals.

'I was absolutely horrified because I didn't have 30 years to age gracefully - I'd done it in 8 hours.'

Susannah adds that the shocking result made her reflect on her own attitude to getting older.

'I do fear ageing,' she tells Daily Mail Weekend. 'I don't want to look ancient.'
