Chelsy Davy refuses Christmas trip with Prince Harry

South African student wants a cooling off period

Chelsy Davy has reportedly refused to go on holiday with Prince Harry for Christmas.

The blonde, 22, ended their 3-year relationship last week over 'commitment issues'.

And now she’s said to have passed up the chance to spend the festive season in Dubai with Harry, 23, because she wants both of them to have a chance to reflect.

‘Chelsy and Harry might do a Wills and Kate and rekindle their relationship,’ a source says. ‘The cooling-off period could do them the world of good.’

Meanwhile Chelsy’s millionaire dad Charles Davy, 54, has persuaded her to stay in the UK and complete her uni course in Leeds.

‘Her dad is right, she needs to focus on her exams and her family over the next couple of months,’ the source tells the Daily Star.

‘They can have a fresh start in the New Year. But Christmas is emotional enough as it is, and it’s not wise to make plans this far in advance, when their relationship is in this sorry state.’
