Nadine Coyle: I regret my split from Jesse

The Girls Aloud singer misses Desperate Housewives star

Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle has recently been seen out and about in LA with her ex Jesse Metcalfe. But she says they're not back together – although she does regret their break-up.

'I wish I’d handled things differently,' says the 22-year-old. 'We broke up when he was still in rehab, which was tough. I was getting ready to go on tour, he had loads of things going on and it was just too hard.

'Really it was my fault. I came back to London and didn’t tell anyone we’d split. Next thing, he’s seen with another girl and it was: "He’s cheating!"

'But we see each other more now. We’re really good friends.'

She's still single at the moment but is on the lookout for a new man. And she knows exactly what type of boyfriend she's after.

'I’m very specific about who I go out with,' she says. 'I need someone confident and funny, so if I do something stupid they’ll laugh.'
