Actress says Posh was up for anything on set of Ugly Betty

America Ferrara claims Victoria Beckham was ready to be humiliated when she made a guest appearance on Ugly Betty.

The actress, 23 – who plays geeky editorial assistant Betty Suarez in the hit US comedy – says the Spice Girl was up for anything, even if it meant taking the mick out of herself.

‘She was so nice, such a really lovely person,' America reveals. 'She was just one of the girls. She didn’t bring her own make-up people or anything.

'She definitely came with the right attitude. If you’re not willing to be humiliated then you don’t belong on our show.

‘She was ready to be humiliated, yes!’

But despite warming to the 33-year-old, America never referred to Victoria by her name - in case she called her Posh by accident.

‘I avoided it because I didn’t know what to call her,' she admits. 'I was like, “Hi… you.”’
