Penny Stewart is the latest celeb to be booted off Strictly Come Dancing.
The leggy blonde, 36, came bottom in the public vote alongside EastEnders hunk Matt Di Angelo.
Following a dance-off, the judges opted to save the 20-year-old.
‘Strictly Come Dancing has been a wonderful experience which I will cherish forever,’ a tearful Penny told host Bruce Forsyth on hearing the news.
‘I loved being a part of the show, so obviously I am disappointed to be leaving, and sorry that I will not get the chance to perform some of my favourite dances.’
It comes as a shock, as the model – married to rocker Rod Stewart, 62 – was one of the favourites to be crowned Strictly Come Dancing champion.
‘She was very upset,’ a show insider tells the Daily Mirror. ‘The tears were flowing. She was consoled by ex-contestant Gaby Logan, who knew how it felt to go before you feel it's your turn. Penny went straight home to Rod.’
On Saturday, Penny's fast-paced salsa with partner Ian Waite failed to impress the judges as they awarded her just 25 points out of 40.
Matt and partner Flavia Cacace also had a bad night, only receiveing 29 points for their Viennese waltz.
Meanwhile, on rival show The X Factor, Andy Williams, 23, was the latest contestant to be voted off.
