Cerys Matthews: I'm looking for my Tarzan

Singer is seeking romance in the jungle

Cerys Matthews says she's looking for romance during her time on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

'I'll be like Jane looking for Tarzan,' jokes the Welsh singer. 'I want to wear those outfits and climb trees.'

Cerys, 38, - who shot to fame in the 1990s as the lead singer of Catatonia - is single following her recent marriage break-up from producer husband Seth Riddle.

And although contestants on the show have found love before, the singer admits that the hostile Australian jungle is an odd place to search for a partner.

'It's a curious place to go looking for love,' admits Cerys.

The star says she will miss her children Glenys Pearl, four, and two-year-old Johnny the most.

'Glenys wants to come with me but she doesn't like bugs much - so that's why we tell her she can't come,' Cerys tells the Sun.

'I'm mostly going to miss my kids because they're still very young.'
