Former Sex Pistols star drops out of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here

Malcolm McLaren has pulled out of reality TV show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.

The former Sex Pistols manager dropped out just 1 hour before he was due to enter the jungle - leaving ITV producers in turmoil.

‘He flew 5,000 miles to take part but on the day they were due to go into the jungle he changed his mind,’ a spokeswoman for the ITV1 show tells BBC news.

The music star, 58, – who was reportedly offered £500,000 to appear in the series - was supposed to be meeting fellow celebs at a hotel near the set on Saturday, but failed to turn up.

Bosses are now said to be considering flying out panto dame Christopher Biggins as a replacement – but insiders say it won’t be in time for tomorrow’s first night.
