Cristiano Ronaldo slapped with pie ban

Footie hunk reveals his liking for British grub

Thursday, 8 November 2007

Cristiano Ronaldo says he's been banned by Manchester United officials from eating pies.

The footie hunk, 22, has been warned off stodge 'n' chips and other unhealthy takeaways.

‘I am fortunate to be able to dine in the best restaurants and have a glass of expensive wine, but there is also the English takeaway,’ the Daily Star reports Cristiano told a Portugese mag.

‘I dated a girl from Manchester and she showed me that steak pies and chips are very good.

‘But I have to be careful. The club do not want me to eat too much of this food because it would not be good for my game. They have told me they do not want me gaining any extra weight.’

Mmm… Cristiano Ronaldo and chips. So sexy.
