Tom Cruise: I don’t own a mobile

Hollywood star just ‘wants to be with children and make movies’

He may be worth £125m, but Tom Cruise has revealed he doesn’t own a watch, a mobile or have a email address.

The actor, 45, says he prefers the simple life – insisting that his best times are ‘waking up and seeing Katie and Suri and giving them a hug’.

‘I have no iPhone, no mobile, no email address, no watch, no jewellery, no wallet,’ he explains. ‘I simply want to be with my children and make movies.

‘My values for my children never change: love, responsibility, curiosity at the wonder of life.’

Tom has two adopted children with Nicole Kidman and 18-month-old daughter Suri with wife Katie Holmes.

And Tom’s no stranger to hard work. He claims he sleeps just 3 hours a night when he's shooting a film.

‘I am the boss of 1,000 people,’ he tells the Daily Mirror. ‘I don't see myself as an icon.’
