X Factor sensation Rhydian Roberts has been unveiled as a Joseph reject.
The blond contestant auditioned with thousands of other hopefuls for the BBC's Any Dream Will Do – but didn’t even make it past the regional heats.
‘I was surprised he didn’t do better in Any Dream Will Do,’ his former singing coach tells the Sunday Mirror.
‘He belongs in musicals. X Factor is more about pop and Rhyd is a high drama act. He doesn't do subtle that well.’
But despite his critics, the 25-year-old is tipped to win the talent contest and has even been praised by TV’s Mr Nasty Simon Cowell - who thinks he's 'world class'.
