Sarah Jessica Parker: Being voted Unsexiest Woman Alive doesn't bother me

Sarah Jessica Parker is unconcerned about being voted the Unsexiest Woman Alive in an online poll.

The 42-year-old actress, who features in Maxim's top five unsexiest women alongside Britney Spears, Amy Winehouse, Madonna and Grey's Anatomy star Sandra Oh, says she really doesn't care what people think.

'It does not bother me in the least if people don't think I'm sexy. I don't think I am either,' she reveals.

The Sex And The City star, who has a 5-year-old son with husband Matthew Broderick, insists she is happy in herself and won't let the cruel comments get to her.

'What they don't know,' she says, 'is that one day I'll wake up fat. But I'll still be happy, just like I am now.

'I believe in the old "sticks and stones" philosophy, so frankly their words don't come close to hurting.'

Nevertheless, the actress admits to worrying about her appearance just like anyone else.

'I think about how I look everyday I leave the house, even when the only people I know I'm going to encounter are the paparazzi,' she tells the Sunday Express.

'I worry about whether I'm wearing my baggy pants, if my hair looks OK. Imagine, all this from someone who runs away with the unsexy top score!'
