Futureproof kicked off The X Factor

Simon Cowell has to choose between two of his groups

Simon Cowell saves Hope and kicks Futureproof off The X Factor

Simon Cowell had to choose between two of his groups tonight on The X Factor when Futureproof and Hope got the least number of viewers' votes.

Dannii Minogue wanted to keep the boys but the other three judges all decided to send them home.

Simon, 48, still has two acts in the contest but Sharon Osbourne only has Alisha Bennett after teenager Emily Nakanda withdrew from the show.

The music mogul doesn't believe Sharon can triumph now.

‘Sharon can't win,’ he says. ‘No way. She hasn't got a cat in hell's chance of winning.

‘I think it will be Niki Evans, Rhydian Roberts or one of the groups.'

But Simon doesn’t think this year’s contestants are as good as previous winner Leona Lewis.

‘Anyone who is compared to Leona Lewis, not just X Factor contestants, isn't great,’ he tells the Daily Mirror. ‘But by her coming on the show the other week, she gave them all a kick up the a**e.'

Boys II Men, who were guests on tonight's show, said they love Rhydian and Beverley.
