Alex Curran launches perfume

Alex Curran has launched her very own perfume - called, perhaps predictably, Alex.

The blonde WAG, who married footie ace Steven Gerrard in a lavish do earlier this year, says she worked hard on her signature scent.

The exotic blend of florals and musks comes in a crystal bottle, with striking pink and black packaging.

'I've been really involved in each step so everything about it is very me,' she explains.

'I wanted a perfume that you can put on in the morning and still smell by the end of the day, and I think the mix of the crisp citrus and the long-lasting musks does just that.

'Steven loves the perfume and is really proud of me – I think he’s gutted that I beat him to it – he quite fancied having his own aftershave range!'

Alex, 25, follows in the footsteps of fellow WAG Coleen McLoughlin, who launched new scent Coleen X this year.
