Sarah Harding: I would lamp Lily Allen

Singer won't stand for negative remarks about Girls Aloud pals

Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding says that she wouldn't hesitate to punch Lily Allen if she slags off her fellow bandmates again.

Lily has been in the girls' bad books for a while, after reportedly calling Cheryl Cole's footballer husband Ashley horrendous and bandmate Nicola Roberts ugly.

'If she said anything to my face, I'd probably lamp her,' Sarah, 25, insists.

Cheryl in particular has had a troubled relationship with the Smile singer and doesn't take insults lying down.

Lily admitted that the words to her song Cheryl Tweedy [Wish I looked just like Cheryl Tweedy/I know I never will] are meant to be ironic rather than complimentary.

'I used to actually quite admire her,' Cheryl, 24, tells the Times magazine.

But war ensued after she branded Lily a 'chick with a dick' on TV's The F Word.
