Nicole Kidman left exposed on red carpet

Embarrassed star wears see-through dress

Nicole Kidman was left red faced on the red carpet on Sunday.

The Aussie star thought she looked chic in a LBD but crowds quickly noticed that in strong sunlight it was completely transparent, revealing a black bra and thong set underneath.

When she first arrived, Nicole received a noisy reception at Sydney's Acer Arena but was unaware of the real reason the crowd was quite so boisterous.

She spent a full 5 minutes signing autographs at the Australian Recording Industry Association Awards with her buttocks on display before her publicist hurried over with her coat.

Nicole and husband Keith Urban, both 40, clearly saw the funny side of the incident when they descended into fits of giggles.

Later, Keith dedicated his win - Best Country Album for Love, Pain and The Whole Crazy Thing - to his wife, saying: 'She was the inspiration for it.'
