Danielle Lloyd narrowly avoids bedroom blaze

But pet dog saves her from fire

Danielle Lloyd has revealed she could have burned to death after accidentally starting a fire at her flat in Chigwell, Essex.

The 23-year-old was saved by her Pomeranian pooch Trouble.

Dani dozed off after throwing a towel over a lamp as she watched TV in bed. The room slowly filled with smoke but she was oblivious to the danger.

‘It is lucky that Trouble sleeps in my bedroom,' she explains. 'He started barking when the smoke got really bad. I woke up and was absolutely petrified.

‘It was a really lucky escape – I don’t even want to think what might have happened if I hadn’t woken up.

‘I just didn’t think about the lamp getting so hot. The whole place could have gone up. Towels are dangerous.’

The incident comes just a week after Dani almost set light to her hair during a photoshoot.

‘I can’t believe something else so dangerous could happen to me in a week,’ Dani tells the Daily Star.

We think Dani needs a lesson in fire safety from some hunky firemen. Towel, lamp, bad idea.
