Hugh Grant plays gooseberry in the Seychelles

Actor accompanies Liz Hurley and new husband on holiday

Hugh Grant accompanied ex-flame Elizabeth Hurley and her new husband Arun Nayar on a trip to the Seychelles this weekend.

'Hugh was completely relaxed joining Elizabeth on her family holiday and it was clear from the way they were interacting that they are still very close,' says an onlooker.

On the beach, Liz spent most of her time with Arun, 42, and son Damian, but got up from time to time to check on Hugh who was sunbathing nearby.

'At one stage she seemed concerned he had got burnt and rubbed some of her high-protection sun cream into Hugh's face for him,' the source tells the Mail On Sunday.

Friends say that Hugh, 47, and Liz, 42, speak nearly every day and the actor is a regular visitor to the home she shares with Arun in the Cotswolds.

Ex-girlfriend Jemima Khan, 33, reportedly disliked the ex-couple's closeness and was angered when Liz licked Hugh's finger during a dinner party.
