Prince Harry asks for army base transfer

He wants to be close to girlfriend Chelsy Davy

Proof that Prince Harry can be a romantic – he’s reportedly begged army bosses for a transfer so that he can be closer to girlfriend Chelsy Davy.

The 23-year-old has asked to move to a base in Yorkshire – which is less than an hour’s drive from Leeds University campus, where Chelsy, 22, is currently living.

Harry is a junior officer with the Blues and Royals unit, and reckons he’s got a good chance of securing the move.

‘He thinks his army bosses will have to give him the transfer of his choice,’ a source tells the Daily Star.

But his security team are worried that Chelsy’s £55-a-week pad is ‘unsafe’ for regular royal visits and that it could be the target of terrorists.

Just ask her to move in with you, Harry.
