Kate Lawler and WAG Abbey Clancy battle over sexy lingerie

Ann Summers is looking at both girls for next season

After a year modelling Ann Summers lingerie, shapely Big Brother winner Kate Lawler is hoping to stay on to promote the store's sexy underwear in 2008.

But now it seems there’s competition from an unexpected source – Abbey Clancy, pert, blonde girlfriend of footballer Peter Crouch and Hell’s Kitchen contestant.

Kate, 27, who's now a breakfast show presenter on Kerrang Radio, was delighted when she was first chosen to represent the Ann Summers range last November.

‘I love the underwear and I was already a customer,’ she explained. ‘Since then I’ve often been decked out in black and red suspenders and stockings.’

But now a rumour’s circulating that 21-year-old Abbey Clancy’s appearance on Hell’s Kitchen impressed the bosses at Ann Summers so much, they’re considering her as a model for the new collection.

'My boobs are 32D,' says Abbey. 'Everyone thinks they’re implants but they are 100 per cent real.'

So will it be Abbey or Kate for the new Ann Summers season? Over at Ann Summers they’re giving nothing away.

‘Kate is still working with us,’ they say, ‘but Abby is a gorgeous girl, too.’
