Britney Spears has escaped another stressful court case after hit-and-run charges against her were dropped.
The singer - who clipped Kim Robard-Rifkin’s Mercedes station wagon in August – is believed to have paid £500 compensation for the damage and lawyer J. Michael Flanagan has confirmed that no further action will be taken.
Kim feels ‘very sympathetic towards her and hopes the best for her.'
But Britters, 25, isn't totally off the hook, she's due back in court next month to face another charge – driving without a valid California licence.
'We're also working on resolving the licence issue,' Mr Flanagan explains. 'That charge can be reduced to a mere traffic infraction upon showing proof that she's licensed.'
