Amy Winehouse to give up alcohol

She says she won't indulge before shows

Troubled Amy Winehouse has vowed to give up alcohol - but only before gigs.

After bizarre perfomances in Berlin and Amsterdam, in which she appeared to forget the lyrics of her own songs, the troubled singer was in Munich yesterday and in sober mood.

'This tour started pretty much as the last one ended,' a source tells The Sun. 'Berlin was a difficult time for everyone and we thought it was going to turn into another tour full of drunken and missed shows.

'But she’s now said that she will not drink before her gigs for the rest of the tour.'

Last week Amy, 23, was fined for drug possession in Norway and the incident almost threw her European tour into chaos.
