Kate Garraway: I must sex up routine

Strictly Come Dancing star struggles to sizzle

Kate Garraway admits that she needs to be sexier on Strictly Come Dancing - or she risks being booted off the show.

'I've been trying my best to be sexy on the dancefloor but my dance partner Anton du Beke tells me it's like trying to snog Julie Andrews,' she tells the Sun.

Judge Arlene Philips slammed the GMTV presenter's first performance - telling Anton she felt sorry that he had such a poor dance partner.

Anton has some helpful advice for Kate, 39, but she's finding it difficult to take on board.

'He keeps telling me to dance like a hooker!' she says.

'I just find it very hard to do all the sexy moves on TV. I'm very English, I know.'

Dirty Dancing it ain't.
