Pete Doherty splits from fiancee Irina Lazareanu

He’s telling pals he wants to get back with ex Kate Moss

Pete Doherty has split from fiancée Irina Lazareanu.

The couple decided to go their separate ways after a heated row.

The Bayshambles star is said to have felt 'smothered' in his relationship with the 25-year-old model.

‘He got engaged in a moment of madness when he was off his head before he checked into rehab,' says a source. 'Pete's been questioning his sanity ever since.

'He liked Irina but admits the only reason he got together with her was on the rebound from Kate.'

The final straw was a videoshoot this weekend.

‘Irina turned up in Somerset at the weekend on the set of the video for Babyshambles’ new single You Talk,’ the source tells The Sun.

‘She was always telling Pete what to do and where to go, and in the end he had to tell her it was over. Everyone’s happy she’s gone — it wasn’t doing anything for band relations.’

And now Pete, 28, is reported to have told pals he wants ex-lover Kate Moss, 33, back.

There’s only one problem, Pete. Kate’s currently dating Jamie Hince.
