After winning her own battle against drugs, Tara tells Now she’s worried for Britney…
Friday, 26 October 2007
Tara Palmer-Tomkinson had to have her collapsed nose rebuilt because of her former cocaine addiction, and she's concerned about what's happening to Britney Spears.
The 33-year-old socialite says: 'I was the posh girl with the drug habit. When you hit rock bottom, that's the point to sort yourself out.
'Until then, it’s hard to go to rehab just because the rest of the world wants you to go.
'For Britney to go through all this with drugs… It’s a very lonely place. She may be all smiles on the outside, but it’s awful inside. You feel so empty. It’s terribly hard to have the children taken away.'
Britney, 25, lost custody of Sean, two, and Jayden, one, to Kevin Federline, 29, on 1 October and has only seen her sons for monitored visits since.
She's due at LA's County Courthouse today to ask County Commissioner Scott Gordon to restore shared custody.
