Kylie Minogue told to scale back world tour

Doctors fear she'll burn herself out

Kylie Minogue’s plans to celebrate her 40th birthday in May next year by launching a world tour have suffered a setback.

The singer's doctors fear she may burn herself and want her to take it easy.

‘Kylie is determined to do this tour,’ says a source. ‘She was upset that she had to pull out of her last one – the Showgirl tour – when she received her cancer diagnosis.

‘If it was up to her, she’d do an endless string of dates but doctors say she needs to make herself the priority and take more time out to relax.’

If the tour goes ahead, the pop princess is advised to limit the number of venues.

‘They just don’t think travelling so much to perform each night is a good idea,’ the insider tells the Daily Express.

‘Knowing Kylie, she will want to push herself. But she just can’t as much as she used to.’
