Leona Lewis looks on course to win this week's chart battle with Take That.
Early figures show the 22-year-old’s CD single Bleeding Love is outselling the lads' Rule The World by 3 to 1 in Woolworths.
Leona is also the No 1 download on iTunes.
If it continues this way, Gary, Jason, Mark and Howard will have to settle for No 2 in the charts.
The X Factor winner is also outselling Take That in HMV by 2-1.
But just to muddy the water, McFly's The Heart Never Lies is the store's most-in-demand release right now.
‘We’re selling twice as many Leona singles as we are Take That, though right now they’re both being outsold by McFly,’ a HMV spokesman tells the Sun.
‘However, McFly releases always tend to start strongly due to their avid fan base and then level off, so the signs are looking really good for Leona landing her second UK No 1 come the end of the week.’
