Denise Van Outen denies split with James Lance
Denise Van Outen has hit back at rumours that she and boyfriend James Lance have split up.
Far from being heartbroken, Denise, 32, insists that she and the Teachers star are still very much together.
'I was with him at the weekend, on the beach in Brighton,' she tells You magazine.
Denise, currently starring in glitzy West End musical Rent, believes that it was her hectic lifestyle that caused the confusion.
'I was dashing between LA and Belfast, and we hadn't seen each other for about five weeks, and I think the press believed something was up,' she explains.
But though they're still an item, Denise - who previously had a tempestuous relationship with Jamiroquai's Jay Kay - has not yet decided whether James, 32, is The One.
'It would be weird if we ended up together - weird in a good way. But it's a bit early to be thinking in those terms just yet.'
