Amy Winehouse spends night in police cell

She’s back on track with tour after paying £350 fine

Amy Winehouse spent a night in a police cell in Norway on Thursday after marijuana was found in her hotel room at the Radisson-owned Hotel Norge in the port of Bergen.

The singer, 24, husband Blake Fielder-Civil, 26, and another British man were fined for possessing 7gms of cannabis.

The trio were held until 7am. Amy and Blake were fined £350 and their companion, £240.

‘We had a tip which led to a check,’ prosecutor Lars Morten Lothe tells the Daily Mirror. ‘She paid the fine. This is over.’

Amy, who was taken to hospital is August after a suspected overdose of heroin, cocaine, ecstasy, ketamine and alcohol, is scheduled to appear in the Netherlands tonight.

The singer's agent says: 'She was released without charge.'
