Madonna's adoption of David Banda speeds up

She’ll be granted permanent custody 5 months earlier than expected

Madonna at Heathrow Airport, London, Britain - 17 Feb 2007

Madonna’s adoption of Malawian tot David Banda is reportedly being fast-tracked and she could be granted full custody 5 months earlier than expected.

The Material Girl, 49, is expected to fly to Africa to appear before Malawi’s high court for a review of her current adoption order next month.

The original hearing was due to take place in April 2008, but now the adoption of the 2-year-old looks set to be completed in weeks.

Madge is believed to have already sent her aides to Malawi to prepare for her arrival, reports the Sun.

But Madonna’s plan to adopt a 21-month-old baby sister for David called Mercy has hit a snag. The girl’s family are refusing to give permission for her to be taken into her care.
